The Amazing Laikipia Camp is situated in the heart of the Ol Maisor Farm and Ranch. Founded by the Evans family three generations ago, the family have balanced agricultural and ranching alongside an ever-increasing wildlife population for a number of years. The Amazing Laikipia Camp will be the first high end tourism venture ever to operate on the land, and marks a significant step towards the long term future of wildlife in this area, as the income generated through tourism will not only balance out damage caused to livestock and agricultural by the wildlife but will also allow for further training and equipment supply for the small but passionate team of rangers that patrol the area on a daily basis.
